WHAT'S THE POINT?

I created this podcast to share our real life experiences, passions, conflicts, inspirations, and connections.

My goal is to bring people together to inspire a growth-mindset so that we can continue pursuing our passions in a positive way.

Welcome to the Gro Show. Hosted by Big Mike. My focus is to inspire growth among all listeners whether it be personally, financially, or emotionally. “The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.” ―Ralph Waldo Emerson” We all have a decision to make. Whether or not we put a plan together to forge our path to become the person we want to be is up to us. We decide who we become through our daily actions, our beliefs, and our thoughts.

Sharing With You

I have never done this before. This is my first podcast and first time really collaborating on something so creative together. I am taking attempting to create inspiring content that you can use positively in your life. This podcast will focus on sharing our passions, real life experiences, and most importantly, talking more about the 4 pillars of success that mean the most to us. A big focus and application for me will happen around beach volleyball and engineering.

4 PILLARS TO A HAPPY AND SUCCESSFUL LIFE

1. Relationships/Mindset

2. Sleep

3. Nutrition

4. Exercise

Giving Back

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” ~ Mahatma Gandhi.

The Gro Show is a platform where I plan to grow my connections and give back to our community in ways that we feel are important to us. I believe that giving is an extremely important part of my life. I haven't been the greatest at it in the past, but plan to really light a fire in this area of my life. Giving not only supports causes you believe in and helps others, but it really does come full circle.

I want to promote a positive lifestyle for all of my followers. Inspiring just one person to give back at least once a year is a win in our book! My plan is to volunteer, donate time, donate resources, etc. at least once a month. I ask that if you aren't already a part of a volunteer opportunity, non-profit organization, or simply donate cash, that you do so at least once a year.

I Want to Hear From You

I am by no means experts in any area of my life (except engineering). I am simply living and learning. How else can I do it? If you have the secret answer to life, by all means, PLEASE let me know.

If you have any suggestions, ideas, concerns, topics you want to hear more about, or anything at all, please shoot me an email at Mike@mod-eng.com.

I would LOVE to hear from you!
